Night Nurses Outreach

Our after hours primary care team (Night Nurses) deliver health care on the streets of Melbourne for people sleeping rough or experiencing homelessness.

The After Hours Outreach Service addresses the immediate and primary care needs, including health and social assessments, professional nursing care, counselling and active support, first aid, medication management and follow ups for people.

Importantly, this service works in collaboration with Foot Patrol to engage service users in need of after hours harm minimisation support. The importance of assertive outreach teams is absolutely vital, often being the first point of call with any health professional or support worker in months for people experiencing homelessness.

The after-hours service integrates with The Living Room to provide ongoing health and medical care for people.

Service Hours

4pm - 10.30pm Wednesday - Sunday

You can also donate directly to this program on line to help our night nurses stay out longer, helping more people.
