Youth Projects social enterprise Good Coffee Good 2 Go cafe was established in September 2014 to help young people gain access to real work experience. And also make great coffee.
We are part of the Youth Projects family located in the heart of the Melbourne street art capital Hosier Lane, training young people in customer service and hospitality, confidence and skills so that they are good to go into the job market.
Surplus proceeds support Youth Projects wide range of support services for people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage. Good 2 Go also has a range of second hand clothes, accessories, books and unique Hosier Lane street art souvenirs on sale.
Check out our Been Hunter reviews : “Visiting Melbourne, friend took me down this lane for sightseeing. I was more impressed with the coffee I found. I’ve given some cheeky 10s because these guys do more than just coffee…they do good. It’s a social enterprise helping at risk youth so when you buy your coffee you’re giving them experience and putting money into the organisation. BUT is the coffee good? Yes, temperature, texture, flavour were all on point. I would go back for sure. Don’t forget to pay one forward.”
