Who we are looking for
The Y-HOP Coach is an exciting new position in the front line of youth assertive intervention where outstanding youth work motivation and passion will make the most difference. Funded by Hume City Council, Youth Projects will be delivering a highly innovative youth assertive outreach service for disengaged young people across the City of Hume LGA.
As the first point of contact for at-risk youth across the City of Hume, this position is critical to the success of Youth Projects operations of Y-HOP (Youth in Hume Outreach Program).
The Y-HOP Coach will be an enabler who successfully engages, supports and coaches disengaged young people to provide critical interventions to quickly engage young people to other supports and services internal to Youth Projects complementary programs and initiatives across the North West of Melbourne and external to the organisation. You will guide, coax, initiate and collaborate in a flexible, youth orientated environment.
You will work alongside another Y-HOP Coach and will also be a key member of an outstanding and multidisciplinary team at Youth Projects.
