About the Role

We have a number of exciting new opportunities in our specialist AOD Youth Outreach Team! Our team is growing as we have been contracted to extend our highly successful service into North Western and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. These roles deliver flexible and assertive outreach AOD support to young people. We are looking for people with passion and drive to work in emerging communities to create high quality referral pathways and outcomes for young people and their families.

We have 3 exciting new AOD positions available working across the Youth Projects footprint:

  • 1 x Senior Youth AOD Outreach Worker
  • 2 x Youth AOD Outreach Worker

Located in the growing and vibrant Northern region of Melbourne, Youth Projects, provides front line support to individuals experiencing disadvantage, unemployment, homelessness, alcohol and other drug issues, and young people looking to reengage with learning and employment. We are an Australian-based independent, registered charity. We are a dedicated and energetic multi-disciplinary team comprised of GPs, nurses, mental health & AOD specialists, welfare workers and complimentary therapist’s. Often people who are homeless don’t get all the help they need and frequently miss out on access to key needs like health or education, mental health support or help with drug problems, That’s why our model of help makes the most impact by tackling the hardest problems for people lost in the service system.
