About Us

Youth Projects Ltd is a large charity established in 1984 to support young people and families of the northwest suburbs and the central business district (CBD) of Melbourne. In partnership with Coact we are expanding our foot print and suite of services to include Disability Employment Services.

We will be the only Youth at Risk specialist provider in the North of Melbourne and we want to be the first provider to be 5 stars!

We have a unique offering here at Youth Projects, a wrap around model that supports every aspect of a young persons journey, from health care, to counselling, housing, training, mental health, AOD support and a job! We are a high performing TTW & EST provider as well as an RTO and first class primary health service. We are proud of who we are and what we achieve.

Who we are looking for

We’re all about young people, jobs, independence and empowerment.
As Recruitment Partner, you will be focused on finding employment outcomes for participants by identifying opportunities and securing placements. The capacity to deliver within an outreach model and demonstrate accountability and initiative is vital to joining our team.

You will be a key member of a motivated team working as the provider of choice in the delivery of Disability Employment Services program in the Calder and Plenty regions of Melbourne. Your focus will centre on our continued impact in reducing youth unemployment in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
The key to your success in this role will be

  • building and maintaining effective relationships with local employers, pro-actively understanding their resourcing needs and successfully matching candidates to opportunities.
  • a solid understanding of people centred case management principles including helping people to overcome barriers
  • drive and  passion to  work in a collaborative, non-judgemental environment that is youth centred
  • delivering positive customer and client experiences,
  • you thrive in a target based environment, with the drive to  exceed  professional and personal goals
  • you are looking for a meaningful career, not just a job.

The role will require travel across the North and North West suburbs of Melbourne with home bases being Glenroy and Epping.
