Recruitment Partner (Youth Worker – Employment Focus)

As Recruitment Partner you will work one-on-one with young people to coach and mentor them to be job ready. Finding and securing training opportunities to skill young people up for the workforce and partnering with local employers to find the right job match. Our ultimate goal is young people in jobs!

Are you

Passionate about changing the narrative from youth unemployment to youth employment? Are you ready to work from a holistic approach, rather than just from an employment-focused framework? We ensure caseloads are manageable and personable, enabling you to provide an end-to-end experience. You will be a coach and mentor for young people, from intake and assessment, through to young people sustaining their job for at least a year. This is a truly rewarding role and we are seeking someone who is motivated, persistent and an innovative thinker!

Do you

Have a solid understanding of people-centred case management principles including barrier management? The core of success in this role will be building and maintaining effective relationships with local employers, pro-actively understanding their resourcing needs and successfully matching candidates to suitable opportunities.

About Us

Youth Projects Ltd is a large charity established in 1984 to support young people and families of the northwest suburbs and the central business district (CBD) of Melbourne.  In partnership with Coact we have secured a new federally funded program to support Young People experiencing mental and young people with a disability find and sustain work.

We are expanding our footprint are delivering an innovative and unique outreach model across the North and North Western suburbs of Melbourne.

We are the only provider to be awarded a youth focused contract and we will use our holistic, wrap around model to support you, and our young people, to be the best you can be!
