Performance and Partnership Leader
Youth Projects Ltd is a large charity established in 1984 to support young people and families of the northwest suburbs and the central business district (CBD) of Melbourne. In partnership with Coact we are expanding our foot print and suite of services to include Disability Employment Services.
We will be the only Youth at Risk specialist provider in the North of Melbourne and we want to be the first provider to 5 stars!
We have a unique offering here at Youth Projects, a wrap around model that supports every aspect of a young persons journey, from health care, to counselling, housing, training, mental health, AOD support and a job! We are a high performing TTW & EST provider as well as an RTO and first class primary health service. We are proud of who we are and what we achieve.
Who we are looking for
We want young people in jobs!
As Performance and Partnership Leader, you will inspire and lead your team to be the provider of choice in the delivery of the Disability Employment Services (DES) program in the Calder & Plenty regions of Melbourne. You will empower a small and brand new team to BE THE CHANGE and reduce Youth Unemployment in Melbourne’s North.
You will drive performance to ensure achievement of significant outcomes and the provision of high quality service delivery to customers and employers.
You will be committed to building and maintaining relationships and strategic partnerships with employers and community partners that create sustainable employment opportunities and outcomes for program participants. You will drive customer acquisition activities that engage job seekers, realising a continuous pipeline of program participants.
We are looking for someone with DRIVE & PASSION. You can lead autonomously but also understand what accountability really means. This role can be treated like a ‘start up’. It will include recruitment of a small team, setting up outreach office locations and building a high performance culture from day 1.
What we offer
We are committed to creating an inclusive and transparent workplace culture where people can develop to be their very best. You will be supported by a team of amazing and talented leaders that want to see you succeed. Your success is our success!

The role will require extensive travel across the North West towns of Melbourne with home base being Glenroy.
