Youth Projects Ltd is a large charity established in 1984 to support young people and families of the northwest suburbs and the central business district (CBD) of Melbourne.
We provide aspirational, life changing support through an integrated model in which multiple barriers are addressed with access to health care, counselling and drug safety, outreach services, employment, education and training.
About the Role
We are seeking the services of a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within our primary healthcare service in the CBD. The Living Room Primary Health Service provides free healthcare and support to improve the physical, mental and social wellbeing of individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, disadvantaged or marginalised, with complex healthcare needs.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated skills and experience in working within a multidisciplinary team environment providing coordinated care for people with multiple and complex healthcare needs. A history of working within the mental health and/or the alcohol and other drug sector is highly desirable.
